It Has Begun!

The pilgrimage has begun! On a hot June day, our small group of bikers rode away from the cool shade underneath the trees in front of the PC(USA) Center. It was an adventure filled day, with an accidental side pilgrimage to Bethlehem, IN (No sign of baby Jesus, however!) All of the bikers eventually made it to Hanover Presbyterian Church, where they were greeted by an outdoor picnic with music playing and a group of fans welcoming them with applause! Everyone made it through without major injury (a few cramps, but nothing debilitating), but as the enormity of the 450 mile trek (well, now 460 mile trek with the trip to Bethlehem) sunk in, the quote of the day is "ouch!"
